BLUFF POINT OF VIEW POLICIES AND IMPORTANT INFORMATION

We really hope you enjoy your time here with us.  These policies are established to help EVERYONE have a safe and relaxing stay.

  1. CHECK-IN is 3 pm;  CHECK-OUT is 11 am.
  2. VISITORS: NO VISITORS. PAID REGISTRANTS ONLY..
  3. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY per chalet is 4 people or one family unit (husband, wife, unmarried children under 18.
  4. RUBBISH: Please place your garbage in the dumpster. Recycle may remain in porch bin after rinsing or brought to office porch..
  5. PETS:  ​NO PETS ALLOWED.
  6. WILDLIFE:  Do not feed any wildlife. DO NOT kill or abuse wildlife.  Fishing in the pond is Catch & Release only. Do not throw foreign objects in the pond.
  7. PARKING:  Parking on gravel driveway only.  Please inquire in office regarding the best place to park boats or additional vehicles.
  8. TRAFFIC:  Speed limit around Bluff Point of View is 5 mph.  Please watch out for children and wildlife.
  9. CHILDREN:  Parents are responsible for the safety of their children. Parents will be held financially liable for any damages caused by their children.  Children are not to be left unattended.
  10. QUIET HOURS:  11pm-8am. Please be respectful of your neighbors. Sound does carry.
  11. SMOKING:  Smoking is not permitted at any time in the units, on the porch, deck or in any building on the property. Please inquire in office for a sand pail for outside smoking in the appropriate areas.
  12. CAMPFIRES:  Are allowed in the fire rings only. Fire rings are used for burning wood and/or cooking only.  Do not put garbage, cans, glass, plastic, etc. in fire rings. Extinguish fires before sleeping or leaving site. Firewood may not be brought in from outside sources per NYSDEC regulations.  One complimentary bundle of firewood is provided at check-in per unit per stay.  Additional bundles may be purchased for a small fee. Do not bring our blankets out to campfire. Please return campfire chairs back to deck area at end of night.
  13. BICYCLE HELMETS: Must be worn for ages 1-13(DOT approved helmets for ages 1-4) by order of NYS.
  14. FIREWORKS:  ALL fireworks/sparklers/firearms/bows & arrows etc. are prohibited. 
  15. REFUNDS:  NO refunds are given under any circumstances for any reason.
  16. WATER:  It is recommended to bring bottles water for drinking as we run on well water and some people do not like the different taste.
  17. BOOKS AND DVDs:  Available to borrow in the office. Please sign out in the appropriate place. You will be financially responsible for items not returned.
  18. PHONES:  There are no phones in the units.  It is recommended that you bring a cell phone. Reception is excellent in the area. For an emergency contact, feel free to use the office phone number as we are available 24/7.  (315-536-4525)
  19. WEATHER:  Due to our changeable weather, we want you to be aware that if a storm arises and you are not available, the management reserves the right to enter the cabin/chalet to close any open windows.
  20. CLEANING:  Cabin/chalets are expected to be left in the same condition it was when you checked in (dishes cleaned and put away, floor broom swept, garbage emptied, no stains on furniture, food removed, etc).  A $75 cleaning fee will be charged for cabins/chalets left dirty.
  21. CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL:  Occasionally, things may happen beyond our control such as power outages, equipment failure, or something unforeseen.  Please contact us immediately so we may correct the problem as best as we can.
  22. Must be at least 21 yrs. old to rent a unit.
  23. Main registrant is responsible for all those in his/her party for obeying these policies.  Management reserves the right to evict without refund anyone not in compliance of above policies.
  24. Feel free to stop in the office or call us with any questions about where to go or what to do. We love this area and want you to enjoy your time here in the NY Finger Lakes!
  25. HOT TUB policies and rules must be adhered to. SeeGUEST INFORMATION BOOK located in your unit. Open during office hours.
  26. COMPLIMENTARY GRAB&GO CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST:  available in the lounge/office Saturday & Sunday, from 8am until 9:30 am.
  27.  OFFICE HOURS: 8am to 9pm.
