The eleven Finger Lakes are long, slender, glacially-formed bodies of water nestled in the green, rolling hills of western New York State. This region is already world-reknowned for its wine, but is growing in appreciation even more as each person who visits falls in love with the beauty, serenity, and character of the area, to which nothing can be compared.
Keuka (pronounced KYOO-kah) Lake is about 20 miles long and 187 feet deep at its deepest point. It is perhaps the Finger Lake that stands out the most, as it is Y-shaped with a scenic bluff that rises over 700 feet above the water level. This originality allows for some of the most spectacular views you will find in the whole Finger Lakes region.
On closer view of Keuka, whether it be lake swimming nearby or in a fishing boat, you will notice the crystal clear water that is characteristic of the Finger Lakes, Keuka being one of the cleanest. The water is used as the public water supply for Hammondsport, Branchport, Penn Yan, and Keuka College.
Bluff Point of View is located on Esperanza Road, on what is probably the most well-known hillside surrounding Keuka Lake. It boasts a spectacularly breathtaking view of the bright blue water, green farms and vineyards, and the "USA" field that will make you proud to be an American everytime you see it.
Our Place
Bluff Point of View consists of rental cabin chalets, each with their own special view of the west branch of Keuka Lake and its bluff. We are open all year with 25 acres abounding with natural beauty, a peaceful escape for fishermen, couples, or small families in the heart of wine country.
We strive to provide clean, comfortable lodging at a reasonable rate with the amenities of a hotel, the charm of a bed and breakfast, and the ability to enjoy the outdoors without sacrificing comfort. Luxury and nature, the best of both worlds!
Centrally located to the chalets is our office with attached lounge and hot tub room. Complimentary coffee is served daily, as well as complimentary continental breakfast on weekends. Other general amenities include:
